Motorcycle accidents happen far too often in Texas. When they do, their victims are usually left severely injured — or worse. Most recently, in the Temple area, a motorcyclist was involved in a crash with a pickup truck, and the injuries he suffered were reportedly quite serious.
What happened?
According to reports, in the early evening on Tuesday, March 23, a motorcyclist was operating his vehicle eastbound on Loop 363 when the driver of a pickup truck turned in front of him. With no time to react, the motorcyclist struck the side of the vehicle. He was not wearing a helmet and suffered severe injuries. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment. His current condition is unknown.
The driver responsible
Nothing is known about the driver responsible for the collision. It is unclear if he or she suffered any injuries in the accident. Authorities have not said if this person is facing any criminal charges.
